Property Manager - Lettings
Location: Nottingham
Hours: Mon - Fri 8:45 - 5:30 (Saturdays on rota system)
Salary: £14,000 - £16,000 dependant on experience
Our client, an award winning national lettings and property sales business, is offering a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic Property Manager to join their team.
Full training is provided by our client who also provides an environment where individuals can reach their full potential within the property industry.
As a Property Manager you will oversee the management of the portfolio of rented properties in the Nottinghamshire area.
Candidates MUST have their own transport due to conducting property inspections.
Areas of Accountability:
• Manage all property maintenance issues
• Negotiate with contractors for works to be carried out
• Arrange inventories, gas safety certificates, EPC’s and all other legal documentation to ensure that all managed properties comply with current legislation
• Arrange and carry out property inspections including reporting findings and arranging remedial works
• Check accuracy of invoices from contractors
• Prepare and send bills for works to Landlords
• Ensure Invoices are paid, and chase outstanding debts
The Individual:
• Proven background in property management / maintenance or lettings is ideal
• Strong complaint handling skills
• Self-motivation with a 'can do’ attitude
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
• Extremely well organised and able to prioritise your own work load
• Professional, positive, diligent and focused approach
• Fantastic Administration skills
• Team player is essential
• Liaise with Landlords and negotiate with contractors for works to be carried out
• Experience of working in a busy, customer facing office
