Occupational Therapist/Activities Co-ordinator

Prospects Supported Living is seeking an Occupational Therapist/Activities Co-ordinator to join their team based in Burnley Offering a salary of £9 - £13 per hour depending on experience.

Prospects Supported Living specialises in care and accommodation for people with complex mental health issues. Our homes are Service User specific, focusing on a person centred, needs led approach

As our new Occupational Therapist/Activities Co-ordinator you will be working with 16 - 65 year olds, creating individual activity programmes to help our service users carry out daily living tasks with more confidence and independence. You will be liaising with professionals across an MDT, formulating and evaluating reports to plan and review ongoing treatments. You will be managing a caseload, prioritising needs and completing all required administrative tasks associated with your role.

You will be tailoring ongoing, individual programs to ensure that all service users have personalised involvement and rehabilitation to suit their needs, as well as being committed to ensuring our service users are involved in the local community through college, volunteer work etc.

The successful Occupational Therapist/Activities Co-ordinator will be a "people person" with a flair for motivating, with an empathetic and warm approach, as well as a creative and inspiring attitude.

The Occupational Therapist/Activities Co-ordinator position would suit someone new to qualifying or one who has a sound and proven background in an activities co-ordinator background.
