An interesting new vacancy has arisen within this Organisation for a Field Technician. The successful applicant will provide technical support to Service Operations within the region to include servicing and fault finding on lift equipment. The ideal applicant will have specialist knowledge in most lift / equipment types and will share this with others providing training on products and technical procedures as required. The successful applicant may also be required to do ad-hoc standby duties as and when required.

Personnel Specification:
- The ideal candidate should be educated to a minimum of NVQ 3 and have done at least three of the LEIA units.
- Certified under Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) or able to achieve.
Key Skills:
- Lift Engineering - In depth technical understanding of the lift industry to include product range & manufacturing capabilities.
- Lift Control Systems - Good technical knowledge of control system & capabilities; able to identify & rectify all faults. Have a good understanding of major competitors equipment and able to identify all faults. Able to operate a range of diagnostic tools & equipment.
- Lift Types Knowledge - Reasonable understanding of all major lift equipment.
- Problem Solving - able to identify problems, break them down into smaller elements, pin point possible solutions, prioritise these different elements and construct an action plan for tackling the problem.
