Account Assistant
Livingston
Our client is a specialist, national property maintenance business, specialising in supporting multi-site estates across the UK and ROI. The company’s main focus is the retail, care, leisure and commercial sectors, with all clients being well renowned, blue chip companies.
They are currently recruiting for an experienced Account Assistant to work in our head office.
You will be involved in, but not restricted to, the following duties:
• Processing purchase & sales invoices
• Bank reconciliations
• Reconciling supplier statements
• Credit control
• Completing VAT returns
• Involvement in establishing and growing the business
• Interacting with clients and providing data and analysis for accounts staff
The successful candidate will have :
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounts role or in a similar position
• Experience with Sage and Microsoft Office package
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Has the ability to work in a high performing team
• Good organisational skills, ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail
Salary £15-17.5k depending upon experience.
