We need an enthusiastic, capable committed Workshop Technician to join the busy Technology Faculty at our fantastic school. The position is full-time, term-time only.
You will be providing support for a variety of DT areas. The successful candidate will be expected to work on their own initiative as well as be a team player. We are looking for a Technician who will play a key role in supporting teaching staff and to order and prepare project materials and general resources to support the department, including the use and maintenance of tools and machinery. The ideal candidate would be well
organised with the ability to work independently, taking responsibility for managing routine safety and maintenance checks and the role involves working with a wide range of equipment and resources. Relevant experience within a secondary school setting is desirable but this is not essential, as appropriate training will be provided.
