Senior Marketing Executive
Northolt, Middlesex
Salary up to £32k depending on experience
This rapidly expanding international organisation requires a competent marketing person to join their busy team.
Role
Leading a small team of marketing specialists and working with the Business Development Team, the marketing team and other stakeholders in the business, the Senior Marketing Executive will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans that position and promote Sterling as a key player in the Global Mobility market.
The role will be challenging and varied, requiring you to effectively manage your time to handle multiple simultaneous tasks - from managing a strategic initiative through to tactical sales support to help win an opportunity.
The scope of this role includes campaign development, design and print production, advertising, web and e-marketing, direct mail, event management and internal communications.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing activities
Develop and implement key marketing strategies across the following sectors: Private Moving, Corporate Relocation, Corporate Moving and Agents.
- Conduct market research across all sectors and evaluate new opportunities, customer needs and insights
- Develop and implement measurable, integrated marketing campaigns
- Monitor and provide feedback on campaign ROI to management and other stakeholders
- Redefine and improve marketing materials and ensure production in line with brand guidelines
- Provide internal customers with regular project updates
- Ensure that all work is implemented on time and to budget
- Suggest improvements for customer facing processes and direct interactions such as opportunities to up-sell / cross sell
- Managing the Marketing budget and report quarterly to the Commercial Director
- Engage with the UniGroup marketing team to ensure all activities are aligned with the global marketing strategy
- Source external agencies and supplier
Team Management
Lead and motivate the team to provide a high level of internal service
Monitor Marketing activities within the team and ensure that deadlines are met
Conduct weekly and monthly meetings and annual reviews
Skills and Qualifications
Essential
- Graduate level education or equivalent
- CIM Qualified or Part Qualified
- Digital marketing qualification or equivalent
- High level of IT literacy, experience with CRM applications and content management systems
Desirable
- German, French, Spanish language skills
Experience
Essential
- Experience of the full marketing mix including marketing planning, branding, web and digital marketing, design and print, DM, e-marketing, events and exhibitions, PR
- Experience of developing and implementing integrated marketing campaigns
- Experience working closely with sales teams
- Demonstrable project management skills
- Experience of appointing and managing external suppliers, developing briefs and managing work schedules and budgets
- Experience of online marketing including SEO, PPC, email, social media
Highly Desirable
- Experience of leading and motivating a team
- Experience of working closely with sales organisations
