Commissioning Care Home General Manager

My exclusive and retained client is a growing care home provider, with its new developments focusing on the private high net-worth markets. As part of planned expansion, they are looking for a senior general manager to commission their newest property, from pre-opening through to launch. The site is second to none, and will be a beacon of quality and standards in the industry. As the general manager, you will be accountable for:
All pre-launch operational processes planning
Implementation of training programs
Pre-launch sales and marketing strategy
Key management recruitment (pre & post launch)
Property development management
Pre-CQC registration readiness
Pre opening and post opening budget
Supplier selection and management
General management responsibilities post-opening
Requirements:
As is probably apparent, this is a senior appointment, and is a critical hire for my client. As such, it is vital that you can demonstrate:
Proven experience of managing large care homes (60 beds+)
Private sector care home management experience
Have previously commissioned a new care home
Financially savvy
Good knowledge of sales and marketing activities needed to fill a new build
Robust understanding of the CQC`s role within new care home commissioning
Good knowledge of care home `best practice`
Exceptional trainer (you will be building a new team)
Influencing skills - attracting talented staff will be high on the agenda
