A Product Support Technician is required to join a technology company creating ground-breaking new hardware, software and apps for the film and television industry. During their first trading year (2012), the company has won internationally acclaimed design and innovation awards and development contracts with Blue Chip companies.

Two years on, they are even more ambitious and busier than ever. Their business (and product range) is growing fast and they are looking for bright new talent to add to their team.

Could it be you?

They are looking for a qualified NHD/HNC Computing and IT Systems (or similar) student to work alongside their Products Sales and Distribution Manager.

The role is full time and the range of regular responsibilities will include:

- Stock management using databases
- Product configuration
- Basic fault finding
- Overseeing the product RMA/warranty system
- Customer liaison
- General repair of products

You'll also have access to a team of senior developers and engineers to gain real hands-on experience in any area that could provide long term gain for the company. There's a real opportunity for motivated candidates to get involved in developing skills in embedded firmware development, FPGA programming, web design, app development, hardware design and PCB layout.

What they are looking for

Innovative and creative new minds will shape the future of their business so a passion for IT and technology and a strong drive to work in a young, fresh and exciting business is absolutely essential. To fit in, you'll also need to be highly motivated and proactive and comfortable working in a small team.

On a more practical level they will be looking for:

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Team working and leadership skills
- Strong commercial awareness
- A keen interest in learning about hardware/software code design - particularly app development

Bring these qualities and they will give you a great opportunity to grow your skills and become part of their history.
