Graphic Designer - Print, Artwork & Web
The Company
Our Clients, who are currently looking for a Graphic Designer, are one of the UK’s most successful Soft Signage, Marketing & Display Fabric Printers. They are also one of the UK's leading suppliers of fabric POS to the Event, Construction, Hospitality and Automotive sectors. The Company is part of one of Europe’s leading producers, who have Digital and Screen Printing facilities across Europe and in the Far East.
Key Skills
- Experienced Qualified Graphic Designer/Creative Artworker
- Minimum of 2-3 years artwork/design experience
- Advanced Knowledge in Adobe Suite and colour management in printing
- Experience in managing on-line content & optimising natural search efficiency
- Hard working, highly productive & able to manage work flows efficiently
- Be able to accurately prepare and check client originated artwork and layouts for final print
- Experience in fabric production and dye sublimation, or experience in a sign or wide format print facility would be an advantage
- Experience in operating and maintaining printers would also be an advantage
- The ability to effectively plan print runs to minimise wastage
- Must be able to build effective relationships with both production and sales teams
- Need to have a flexible approach to working hours to ensure deadlines are met
- Must be able to respond to tight briefs from major clients with strict brand guidelines and small businesses with limited experience in design and marketing
- The ability to ensure cost effective use of time, correct prioritisation of work and the management of the teams expectations are also key
- Working closely with the company’s Marketing Manager to constantly enhance the website and prepare artwork and images for e-mail marketing
