Their Service Desk function provides efficient and personalised first line support for both their I.T systems and business users. As a Service Desk Analyst, you will be responsible for handling application issues, communication and hardware calls and queries from all levels of the business. You will be the primary interface between system users, IT staff and external service providers.


Ensuring that work is correctly prioritised and actioned to meet fixed business service level agreements and deadlines, you will also manage the ITIL issue lifecycle e.g. raising, escalating and incident management. With a professional service led manner, you will answer calls/call logs promptly, allocate and escalate calls making it easy for others to pick up the problem and undertake special interest pro-active projects aimed at improving customer service.


Experienced in providing a user/customer support service within a pressurised environment, the successful Service Desk Analyst will possess excellent communication and people handling skills and have the ability to remain calm, focussed and professional in crisis situations.


In addition, you will hold strong IT hardware, comms equipment and system knowledge and hold a minimum of 5 GCSE's (or equivalent). Candidates with a good understanding of their businesses and reacted procedures would be highly desirable.
