Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing a coherent and robust marketing strategy to drive revenue growth, profitability and innovation; and working closely with internal stakeholders and core business teams to maximise the effect of this strategic plan
  • Overseeing the creation, implementation and measurement of the success of all B2B and B2C marketing (digital and traditional), communication and PR activities and initiatives to ensure seamless and integrated solutions. Providing thought leadership across the business
  • Overseeing and supporting the development of corporate marketing collateral, website and social media strategies. Providing assistance on press releases, articles, presentations, events and conferences and other sales documents and tools
  • Align with corporate marketing and communication efforts as the Company continues to transition and expand globally
  • Leading sales funnel and pipeline generation efforts for B2B and B2C products and driving campaign management for client acquisition programmes across multiple channels. Overseeing the execution of marketing campaigns and analysing performance to drive sales revenue
  • Working with the finance team to develop and manage short and long term budget plans for marketing activity; monitoring progress, assuring adherence and evaluating performance
  • Building and developing a marketing team that is motivated, engaged, competent, business savvy, dedicated and efficient
  • Keeping abreast of competitor and market activity. Conducting market research and competitor intelligence activities to better understand the product and service offerings and the approach of key competitors and communicating product and service differentiation to the business. Ensuring commercial and wider team are provided with the up to date tools and training they need to succeed

 The Requirements

For this challenging role we are looking for an ambitious, entrepreneurial and influential marketing professional with exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, able to build, motivate and develop a team to deliver the strategic objectives of the business and with a real desire to work to challenging KPIs, deliver results, and operate at the centre of a high growth business.

Minimum Qualifications / Experience:

  • BA/BSc degree in Marketing and/or CIM qualification or equivalent. In lieu of degree, relevant skills or equivalent experience
  • 10+ experience in B2B Marketing with a strong digital focus and preferably within the card payments/technology sector or a financial services environment 
  • 4 years or more management level experience, leading a growing a marketing team
  • An in-depth knowledge and proven track record of building and executing marketing plans (e.g. user segments, experience, channel strategies, communications, life cycle etc) necessary to drive sales success
  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing communications and public relations activities
  • Demonstrated successful experience writing press releases, making presentations and negotiating with the media
  • Experience of deep analytical reporting of marketing spend vs ROI; and deep experience of competitive/industry analysis and market research
  • Senior level experience working in a dynamic, complex and matrixed management structure with many different stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of the Sales Cycle and solid experience working in a commercial and revenue driven environment
  • Exposure to European markets and working across multi-locations with different cultures would be a distinct advantage
