Mobile UX / UI Designer

A Mobile UX / UI Designer is required to join a Brighton based mobile app development company. Established in 2006 initially developing for web, they now build fully native apps for iOS and Android. They have a large customer base ranging from small companies and individuals like Brighton Marathon & Pat Cash, to large corporations such as Roche Pharmaceuticals, Towers Watson and Lowcostholidays.

They have a small but rapidly growing, friendly team of developers based in a modern office in New England House, 5 minutes from Brighton station. They offer full-service app development including product development, design, build and testing. They look to build long-term relationships with their clients, helping them to achieve their mobile goals.

Job Description:

- They are looking for a motivated, experienced UX/UI designer, ideally with mobile expertise
- You should have the passion to constantly learn more about how people interact with mobile and other digital products.
- You should be excited about making great products
- You should enjoy researching best practice as well as innovating for yourself
- You should be able to demonstrate an eye for detail and current design styles
- You will be involved in all aspects of product design and ideas development
- You will be liaising with their clients and internal developers from the start of the project inception, through to its upload to the app stores

Skills Required:

- You should have an interest in furthering your knowledge, skills and contributing to the wider design community.
- Able to work as part of a small team, with good communication and social skills.
- Able to work autonomously, but understand the need for good project management.
- Strong design flair
- Experience in modern design packages
- Love researching and suggesting rich interactions and interfaces
- Love creating exciting products
- Excellent personal and client facing skills
- Have an eye for typography
