Salary: £14,460 FTE (£7.40 per Hour) + Weekend Enhancements

Working Hours: Up to 37.5 Hours per Week

They are a national charity providing high-quality personalised support to over 700 adults with learning disabilities and autism.
They are looking for both FT/PT Support Workers to join their teams in Surrey & Hampshire.
Outreach Support Worker Role:
Support individuals deciding what they wish to do each day, shopping, prepare meals, support them in activities from cooking, bowling, swimming, cinema, local pub, encouraging new opportunities. You will be able to take difficult situations in your stride, remain calm and confident dealing with them. This can be very rewarding role.
About You:
Previous experience in the care sector or supporting someone not essential as comprehensive induction & training provided. You must have genuine interest in supporting people with learning disabilities and able to clearly differentiate between care and support: emphasis is on enabling people to do things for themselves, not doing things for them.
Candidates must provide eligibility of their right to work in the UK and the Outreach Support Worker role is subject to an enhanced disclosure through the Disclosure Barring Service. A criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining a position and any disclosure will be used fairly. If a disclosure reveals something of concern, matters will be discussed before the job offer is considered.
