With 68 plants in 21 countries, Amcor Flexibles Europe & Americas, a Division of Amcor, is a euro multi-billion market leader and the world's largest supplier of flexible packaging. An opportunity has arisen at their centre of excellence' in Ledbury, which employs in excess of 240 people and supplies a range of innovative and high quality flexible packaging to a demanding blue chip customer base.  Significant investment has been made on the site, helping the business even further in its drive for World Class status.

Forming part of the senior management team and reporting to the General Manager, this role will focus on the commercial development of this fast paced, volume manufacturing site in addition to supporting the Cluster Commercial Strategy. 

This diverse and challenging role will include responsibility for:

  • Improving the commercial results of the site responsible for pricing strategy, contract management, margin/recovery management etc.
  • Implementation of the Cluster Commercial Strategy - including price wave implementation
  • Supporting the optimisation of site production and sales planning activities.
  • Co-ordinating and driving technical information and technically based cost saving projects to market, efficiently and effectively.
  • Working with the sales team to manage customer relationships, ensuring the management team are aware of market opportunities.
  • The management and development of a team across new product introduction, quotations and estimating.

Educated to a high standard, you will have proven commercial experience, incorporating margin management, pricing support and forecasting, gained in a high volume manufacturing environment.  Goal oriented, data driven and financially focused, you must also be a persuasive and confident negotiator, with experience of leading a team.
