Part Time Secretary

Salary - £9.61 per hour
Part Time, 20 – 35 hours per week
Our client is looking for an experienced Secretary to work on a part time basis in their office in Central Leeds, you’ll provide full typing and administrative support to 3 Directors.
What the role involves
• Typing support to Directors.
• Providing administration and secretarial support to Directors.
• Setting up new files and archiving old files (electronic and paper).
• General clerical duties including: faxing, filing, photocopying, franking mail, etc.
• Maintaining hard copy and electronic filing systems.
• Answering the secondary switchboard.
• Covering the main switchboard over lunchtime (approximately 3 times a month).
• Dealing with office emails, telephone calls and post, etc., in the Directors’ absence.
• Arranging meetings and managing diaries.
What you’ll need
• Secretarial experience required.
• Audio typing experience essential.
• Excellent typing/word processing skills (RSA 3 standard or equivalent).
• Computer literate - Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet familiarity.
• Confident telephone manner.
• Good Maths and English Language skills.
• Capable of working under guidance/instruction and of working under own initiative.
• Ability to work accurately with high productivity.
• Self confidence and proactive approach to your work.
• Experience working in the surveying industry would be advantageous but not essential.
