Teradata Performance & Capacity require an individual with solid Teradata fundamentals. A proven ability to drive performance in Teradata applications or queries is essential, and a DBA background and experience and understanding of Teradata performance and capacity would be beneficial.

The Teradata Performance & Capacity team are responsible for the 24x7 support of the Teradata infrastructure supporting LBG's Group Data Warehouse, with specific focus on Performance & Capacity.

You will be involved in Performance Management including system level tuning, application redesign, query optimisation and reporting. As well as workload management (TASM) and Capacity Management.
You will also identify problem areas or opportunities, and provision of optimised solutions, consult on project design and manage incidents where service degradation is encountered and progressing through to resolution

You will have:
*Extensive Teradata experience with DBA / Performance related experience beneficial
*A broad and solid skillset of Teradata fundamentals, including basic and advanced indexing concepts
*Experience of TASM workload management concepts
*Proven track record of delivering efficient and optimal code or applications
*Experience of implementing Teradata system & performance alerting would be beneficial
