We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join a respected Wiltshire employer on a 12 month contract.
The role of Project Manager is to manage and develop client relationships through the delivery of e-Solution projects ranging from product launches, learning and development programmes, and other projects with budgets ranging from £10,000 to £500,000. Specifically, you will have the knowledge and skills of eLearning combined with project management and delivery.
Responsibilities
- To plan, manage and deliver all aspects of our clients' large scale L&D projects and product launches, specifically for the e-solutions department and market.
- To take responsibility for day-to-day management of key client contacts across multiple projects
- To work closely with clients to establish clear project briefs that meet and exceed the project objectives
- To demonstrate a strong ability to write thorough and compelling project briefs and articulate them to internal teams
- To liaise with and manage our associate deliverers and external suppliers
- To communicate effectively with all members of the project team, providing clear information, clarifying service levels, providing relevant feedback, resolving challenges, responding to changing client needs and exchanging ideas for continuous improvement
- Create and update clear, accessible project plans for each client services project, setting out milestones, deliverables, and resources.
- Monitor the profitability and progress of each project - ensuring each one is completed on time and within budget and to agreed quality standards, highlighting risks and opportunities with the Client Services Manager.
- Develop effective communication and working relationships with administrators ensuring they are up-to-date with relevant client / project specific information.
- Create and process invoices and purchase orders.
- To write and present project proposals, budgets and schedules, and to 'up-sell' ideas and solutions when appropriate
- To demonstrate financial responsibility and accountability through effective budget management so as to ensure maximum revenue generation
- To proactively manage client liaison - status meetings, contact reports and general reporting - during project development and delivery
- To demonstrate a strong understanding of clients' businesses environments, marketing strategies and objectives in order to build consideration of these into project proposals
- To develop and sustain trusting and respected client relationships and use this to identity client needs and grow accounts
- To define and implement project processes and ensure communication and understanding of these by all relevant colleagues
- To proactively keep abreast of event industry advancements, e.g. methodologies and technology, and ensure colleague and client awareness
- Work closely with our Director team and business heads to expand the presence of eSolutions across all business units
- Work with internal colleagues to source and develop eLearning content and material
- Develop and implement an eLearning policy and practices that reflect the our commitment to high quality standards through the use of technology, ensuring that the highest level of learning strategies and implementation is provided to our clients
- Actively develop the provision of technology driven learning and increase opportunities for additional revenue for the company
- Monitor customer feedback and identify potential enhancements to both the content and learning outcomes of eLearning modules to improve effectiveness and user satisfaction
- Ensure that opportunities for creating additional training courses are identified and discussed with the Business Solutions Director to improve customer service and identify revenue potential and profitability
- Lead, coach and motivate the eLearning team including our external associates and partners, ensuring understanding of the company vision and values, maximum teamwork and co-operation with all areas and divisions of the company and the highest levels of service provision
Skills Required
Essential
- Experience of project managing a number of large scale projects at one time
- Up-to-date working knowledge of e-Solutions and skills
- Competent user of MS Project
Desirable
- People management experience and skills
- Prince II or equivalent qualification
- Experience in the automotive industry
- Experience project managing L&D programmes and events
- Fluency in a second language
