ServiceNow is currently seeking a Technical Writer to support our Global Information Development team. Technical Writers create, edit, and publish documentation on our wiki and other digital platforms. They collaborate with Product Development and Customer Support to create clear process, reference, and administration content for a technologically sophisticated user base. ServiceNow writers are product experts and are able to clearly explain it to users at all levels of expertise. We look for technical writers excited about their craft, committed to quality and seeking innovation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create and edit product documentation for ServiceNow applications
• Collaborate with Development and Customer Support to create clear documentation
• Understand our product and have the ability to clearly explain it to users at all levels of expertise
• Document processes and business requirements in laymen's terms
• Work with developers in an Agile environment, supporting one or more scrum teams

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Proven technical documentation experience with software products
• ITIL business process and IT Service Management as a business discipline
• Strong organisational skills, ability to operate in an accelerated project cycle
• Degree or equivalent with technical training or certification
• Experience authoring in markup languages such as wiki, DITA, and HTML
