Embedded Software Engineer C++ - Sensor Systems - Midlands

A very unusual opportunity to join a world leader in position sensing technology in an Embedded Software Engineer specialist role, working in collaboration with universities and industry partners, to develop next generation sensor systems. To become the next member of the team you will need -

Essential skills:

* To be qualified to at least degree level or equivalent in an engineering or scientific discipline.
* Experience in the design and implementation of embedded software.
* Solid understanding of software design and integration, ideally in the field of image processing using lasers, cameras, microwave data or similar.
* The ability to write high quality robust code in a clear structured manner.
* Proficiency in C++ for embedded applications
* Algorithm development experience.
* Keen and enthusiastic to work with cutting edge technologies whilst possessing excellent communication skills and team work capabilities.

and it would be nice if you could offer -

* C#
* Matlab / Simulink
* Sensor systems
* Multi-threading, comms, etc
