Investments Administrator - Bath

GBP18,000 - GBP22,000 + annual bonus, overtime and 28 days holiday

Ascentric's Wrap platform enables financial advisers to view value and trade client investment portfolios. The technology gives customers a clearer picture of how their portfolio is performing. We currently have total assets under administration of more than GBP8 billion and we are part of the Royal London Group, the UK's largest mutual life and Pensions Company.

As well as the latest technology we also strive to offer our clients the best possible service in order to build and maintain long term working relationships with them. Within our Operations area we are looking to add an Investments Administrator to our team in central Bath. We are looking for individuals who put customer service, accuracy and commitment at the heart of everything they do as well having the initiative to resolve queries whilst adhering to relevant guidelines.

This role would suit a recent graduate (or someone of equivalent experience) who is looking to forge a long term career within financial services. You will be given full training to both develop quickly and also to progress long term with ongoing improvement and up-skilling available. You will also have the chance to study professional qualifications where appropriate. We are a fast-paced developing company who have more than doubled in size within the past 3 years and who also have ambitious growth plans.

Other responsibilities within the role will include -

  • Pro-actively seeking ways to improve the service for our clients
  • Undertaking all aspects of administration required to support accounts, from processing new business, transfers and contributions, ongoing servicing, client reporting and administering claims
  • Acting as a role model in inspiring confidence, motivating others and adopting a professional approach at all times
  • Processing client transactions and enquiries accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintaining a thorough knowledge of individual and departmental responsibilities involved when working within a regulated environment
  • Identifying customer complaints and taking ownership of them through to resolution in accordance with the complaint handling procedure

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport over the telephone

  • The ability to thrive under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
  • Good planning and organisational skills with a high level of accuracy
