aap3 is recruiting a Business Development & Sales Manager at our Head Ofice in Chilworth reporting into the Head of Business Development and Sales Manager.

As an Account Manager Team Lead, you will maintain and expand relationships with strategically important, large or designated Enterprise customers. Assigned one to five named customers (depending on size & complexity) the role is responsible for maintaining the account and achieving sales quota and assigned strategic account objectives for themselves & the team.

You will represent the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned Customers' needs and expectations are met by the company. In addition providing commercial direction and line management to the EMEA managed services Sales team.

You will report to the Chief Commercial Officer and (Matrix) to the EMEA Sales Director. In addition the role is jointly responsible for managing the day to day sales team activities in partnership with the manager of Sales operations.

Accountabilities and Performance Measures:

  • Achieves assigned sales quota for the managed services sales team including individual assigned accounts.
  • Meets assigned expectations for profitability.
  • Achieves strategic customer objectives defined by company management.
  • Completes strategic customer account plans that meet company standards.
  • Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company and customer targets.
  • Support the accurate and timely reporting essential for sales organization effectiveness.

Organizational Alignment:

  • Reports to the Chief Commercial Officer & Matrix to EMEA Sales Director
  • Fosters close cooperative relationships with peer leaders and other senior executives.
  • Enlists the support of sales specialists, implementation resources, service resources, and other sales and management resources as needed.
  • This position may have in-direct staff assigned to support responsibilities in specific customers

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven ability to operate in geographically dispersed customer/Sales team.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Extensive IT & business background working at senior/Board level within a high tech environment
  • Experience of working in an organisation that has experienced rapid expansion
  • Knowledge and experience of managing across multi-cultural teams
  • Excellent team management skills, with demonstrated ability and desire to coach employees and develop staff through training, stretch assignments and constructive feedback, and with demonstrated ability to delegate responsibility and establish accountability
  • Strong track record in both individual execution and in leading teams in execution
  • Excellent customer service focus: Team oriented individual with a high level of interpersonal skills, positive personality and the ability to relate to all internal and external
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills. Able to communicate to inspire, persuade or inform and to promote and advocate on behalf of the organization
  • Excellent stakeholder relations skills including working within the organization to establish the program objectives and methods and outside the organization to develop, monitor and maintain relationships
  • An ethical individual who also holds others accountable for ethical and appropriate cultural behaviour
