We are now recruiting for a part-time Centre Support Assistant at our Harborough Innovation Centre. The Centre is located in Market Harborough, Leicestershire.
This is a great opportunity to work in a stimulating environment with our friendly team. You will be the front-line of the Innovation Centre, providing the first point of contact for clients and visitors and supporting the Senior Centre Manager in administering the Centre. For this key role we are looking for a confident and personable individual, able to mix with all types of people and to provide a professional public image. You must also be efficient with an eye for detail, and have good basic IT skills.
Hours:
1.00pm – 5.00pm Monday to Friday, 20 hours per week.
However, flexibility will be required in order to cover occasional evening functions and to work full-time to cover the other Centre Support Assistant's holidays of up to 6 weeks per year. Additional hours will be paid at the standard rate of pay.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Greeting and assisting visitors
- Administration of the Centre in support of the Senior Centre Manager and Assistant Centre Manager.
- Telephone and switchboard services including message taking and answering calls in the name of client companies.
- Mail receipt, sorting and distribution.
- Fax calls: sending client faxes (if requested) and distributing incoming faxes.
- Conference and meeting room booking and recording and arranging refreshments for client meetings as requested.
- Keeping the photocopier operational at all times and assisting tenants with its operation as required.
- Preparation of client keys and security fobs and stock levels monitored.
- Secretarial services to tenants as required.
- Monitoring and ordering of consumables and stationery.
- To accurately record any ad hoc services requested and relevant reporting.
- Support Centre events by assisting with promotion, co-ordination and attendance.
- Helping with client coffee mornings.
- Maintaining neatness of reception and common areas, including the update of tenant post boxes and reception company index.
- Maintaining tidiness of the kitchen areas.
- Covering occasionally at other Centres as requested.
- Covering for the Senior Centre/Assistant Centre Manager as required.
- Other actions necessary to ensure the smooth running of the Centre.
