Class teacher urgently required to teach primary aged pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties.
You should have some previous experience of supporting young people with PMLD and should hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).

Details:
- Teacher will need to plan and deliver high quality teaching whilst differentiating the cirriculum to meet individual needs.
- Teacher will be required to lead, develop, assess, coordinate and evaluate work of the class team.
- Class size of 7-8 pupils of differing complex needs, mixed ages and academic levels.
- Required to start as soon as possible after this October half term 2014 until Summer 2015.
- 23.5 hours teaching time, 10% PPA time incorporated.
- School uses B-Squared Assesment framework for monitering pupil progress.
- School uses PECS as main form of communication so experience of this would be ideal.
- Support of 3 full time TA's including a senior Level 3 TA
Finally any potential candidate will need to be passionate about supporting those with SEN and promoting pupil inclusion.
