Contract Project Engineering

Job Elements: -

• The successful candidate will work closely with both the in house engineering team and supplier engineering departments to ensure that design, manufacture and testing are completed on time & within budget.
• Responsible for maintaining top level project timing in accordance with business goals
• Overseeing and/or ownership of planning that feeds into top level timing
• Arranging project review meetings and ensuring project status is accurately reported to the senior management
• Identifying and recommending the resources needed to keep the project on track
• Management of suppliers and development of the supply chain
• Managing project budgets
• Assisting with project quality activities as required

The ideal candidate will have:

• Degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline
• 5 years project management experience
• Formal project management qualifications (e.g. Prince 2 practitioner) are advantageous
• Good problem solving skills and able to work with minimal supervision
• Valid UK Driving Licence
• Desirable: Experience of the renewable energy field
