An exciting new opportunity has arisen in this Organisation for a Sales Estimator to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing platform lift client specifications to determine what type of product is required. The successful candidate will research current clients on the company database for current jobs in their appointed area and contact builders/contractors to secure jobs through competitive quotes.
The successful candidate will produce accurate quotes / re-quotes for all standard platform lifts using company systems and initiate for order processing by Contract Managers. The Sales estimator will follow quotes through to the offer stage and produce monthly reports as requested. They will also support the general office administration.
Main Accountabilities
- Creating Quotes and Re-Quotes
- Dealing with Customer Enquiries
- Converting Quotes into Confirmed Orders
- Activating Orders
- Up to Date Market and Product Knowledge
Key Skills
- Technical Skills - able to analyse client specifications to determine what type of product is the most appropriate solution for the customer.
- Objection Handling - able to overcome objections from customers to convert new quotes into confirmed orders.
- IT Skills - has a good grasp of Microsoft Office packages particularly Word and Excel and has a good working knowledge of databases.
- Team Working - does things to keep up team spirit or morale, is sensitive and responsive to other's needs.
