As part of the largest pork provider in Europe and the biggest exporter of pork in the world, our client is a leading supplier to retail and food service  markets. They provide the UK consumer with a huge variety of food products, including a comprehensive category range of high quality fresh meat / sausages, bacon / gammon, snacking and cooked meats.

They currently have an exciting opportunity for a full time Production Supervisor to join the Spalding team.  Reporting to the Butchery Manager you will be a key member of the Site team - providing supervision and direction for the Boning department (circa. 75 employees).  

The successful candidate will possess comprehensive experience in the fresh meat industry ideally within butchery as well as the ability to lead and motivate a department or team.  A comprehensive understanding of the manufacturing process is essential, supporting the development of a short to medium term continuous performance improvement strategy that covers efficiency and quality across your area of responsibility. With excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent analytical and numerical capability you will have the ability to influence effectively at Supervisor level and maintain employee engagement, improving where necessary.
