This is a really interesting, newly created role within a leading international law firm following a review of the secretarial support function. Working as part of the firm&rsquos senior management team, the Head of Practice Support will have strategic and management responsibilities for the secretarial function in the London office. You will have overall accountability for effecting the change that is needed as a result of the review and will ultimately achieve the firm&rsquos vision for the secretarial support structure. You will be the front line contact with the business to manage resource, budgets, performance and utilisation and will build effective and cohesive working relationships across all areas to ensure an aligned support structure and service is achieved.
Experience/Education Needed:
Qualified to degree level or equivalent
Excellent and well-developed management skills within a professional services environment
Proven experience of managing change in a professional environment
Able to positively tackle problems, formulate solutions and engage with others to ensure active steps are taken
Able to build and maintain constructive relationships with a variety of individuals at different levels of seniority
Highly experienced in staff management
Able to build a collaborative team-orientated culture
Exceptional written and oral communications
Exceptionally client focused approach
Experience of managing challenging situations
