Long term teacher job at a primary school in Manchester for a Year 5 Teacher. The job is to start in November 2014 until July 2015.
This job has arisen due to maternity leave.
This is a large primary school in East Manchester with a strong community ethos. It has an ethnically diverse catchment in a fairly deprived area of Manchester although the majority of pupils are from a White British background. Additionally, the number of pupils who move in and out of the school within a school year is higher than average. It has received a Good inspection from Ofsted with comments on the high standard of pastoral care and impressive pupil progress.
This job is for a Year 5 teacher and the right teacher will have taught all aspects of the upper Key Stage 2 National Curriculum. You will be joining a school where 'Every Child Matters' and lessons are planned to be appropriately differentiated and delivered at a pace to keep all children engaged.
