National Account Manager (Automotive Sales)

Our automotive client are now recruiting for a National Account Manager to be responsible for the management of national buying groups and internally managed accounts, in which profitable sales and margin is developed in line with the Companies targets, strategy and goals.

Reporting to the General Sales Manager, you will manage existing and create new supply agreements with the best distribution partners for our client. Providing budget and sales forecasts, you will ensure accurate sales, margin and procurement forecasts and you will consistently achieve turnover and margin targets. Additionally, you will provide monthly reports for your manager, you will detail area activity and performance against targets, delivering the information for review as well as supplying customer feedback and competitor activity.

With proven experience in generating profitable sales growth within the automotive or associated markets, the successful candidate will have a good understanding and experience of working with UK Automotive National Accounts and Buying Groups. It is essential that you have proven experience of developing key accounts within the automotive industry and be able to build and maintain relationships will customers, key market figures and other departments within the Company departments.

As the role is Field based within the UK you must have a valid licence to drive in the UK.
