Working as part of a team the Import Operations Assistant will be involved in -
Extensive Client liaison
Managing from start to finish the import consignments
Extensive Supplier liaison involving negotiation to achieve best buying rates
Completion of all Import Operations Administration
Calculation of existing and potential client quotations
Completion of invoicing
Passing of purchase invoices for the import operation
The successful candidate will have previous import experience
It is important that the candidate has excellent written and verbal communication skills, good organisational skills, an eye for detail, numerate with a strong work ethic.
