Job Details: Strong and very experienced Retail Manager required for our Liverpool store. Previous experience for a similar company essential.

We have a number of retail stores and operate two web sites as well as trading through third party marketplaces. Your Aim : Managing the branch team to develop the store by focussing on customer
needs, developing a competent workforce through focus on training, maximising profit and developing the brand. Driving your team forwards with enthusiasm and vision in the lead up to and during the busy Christmas period.

The following section details the main responsibilities for this position. However, this is not a definitive list and a flexible approach to work duties is expected from all members of our team. Generally, the Manager’s duties are to manage the entire operation of the branch, ensuring that a consistent approach is taken throughout trading hours.

Commercial Management

(a) To maximise sales through effective promotional and sales floor management.
(b) To achieve branch sales and profitability targets through effective cost controls.
(c) To minimise stock shrinkage through effective stock and security management.
Customer Service
(a) To ensure that the team members are providing a courteous and efficient service to customers, treating each customer in a pleasant and helpful manner.
(b) To effectively deal with all customer queries, which have been escalated to management level.
(c) To ensure that the Branch takes complete ownership of all customer queries and complaints.

Additional Operational duties to be discussed at interview but will include close liaison with Head Office. Candidate Profile We are looking for individuals who will compliment our anchor values of providing customers with inspiration, convenience, quality, value and respect in an enjoyable and lively environment.

Previous Managerial retail experience is essential, as is the ability to comfortably deal with all members of the public.

Remuneration & Benefits Working five days out of seven, for an average of 40 hours per week, you can expect a package of circa £20,000 £22,000 per annum paid monthly (depending on experience), as follows; Basic Salary: £20,000 - £22,000 (experience depending) Bank Holidays: Day in Lieu Holidays: 20 rising to 25 days per annum plus Bank Holidays (if not worked, please see above). Sick Pay: Effective after 6 months

Staff Discount: Up to 30% Manager Bonus: Dependant on store performance Work Attire: Black or blue jeans, dark coloured chinos or long black leggings. Clean shoes/ trainers/ converse. Company top (provided).
