IT Controls Tester

The world is constantly changing and it has become clear that organisations have to adapt and respond to new risks and heightened regulatory interest across areas as diverse as IT Resilience, Cyber Security and Codes of Conduct. In light of this increased focus on risk and control we have formed, and are now looking to grow, our Risk and Control Assessment team within IT. Our IT Risk and Control Assessment team focuses on testing and assessing the effectiveness of key controls embedded within Group IT.

We require high-performing Risk / Controls Testing professionals to help deliver and improve our current services. Ultimately, you will contribute towards the delivery of a complex portfolio of control testing and assessment to provide reliable and independent evaluation of our newly created IT Control framework.

To succeed you will have practical experience of working in technology risk and control delivering large, complex internal audit or risk management/assurance programmes across an IT function.

As a result, you will be confident utilising strong technical ability in external audit methodologies, control testing and assurance to undertake control testing and evaluation of control design and operating effectiveness. As well as undertaking testing you will clearly agree with Senior Stakeholders actions to address the issues highlighted

As a senior member of the team you will take responsibility for the guidance and support of junior IT Control Tester / Assurance colleagues as required to develop their capability.

With an attitude focussed on Continuous Improvement you will stay up to date with relevant regulatory and statutory environment and technical risk / control matters within the industry to maintain and challenge a strong control environment and culture within the Group.

You will be qualified in one or more of the following: CISA/CISSP/ITIL/Prince2 or equivalent.
