Salary: £7.20 - £7.50 per Hour (Depending on Experience)

A range of full time, part time and casual contracts are available.  Shift patterns include mornings, evenings, weekends and on some occasions nights. 

Our client is recruiting for experienced Support Workers to work within teams supporting groups of people in their homes in Derby. Working as part of a team, you will be supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism and mental health and sometimes challenging behaviour. 

It is essential that you have previous experience working with people with learning disabilities.  Drivers with their own transport are desirable, but not essential. You must be very flexible and able to work shifts during the week and weekends.  

As a Support Worker, you will be involved in, but not limited to:

• Supporting individuals to plan their care and health needs

• Keeping records, including care plans, health records and logs

• Personal care and housekeeping

• Planning and supporting activities in the home and community

• Undertaking the role as a key worker

• Attending meetings and care reviews for individuals

• Working to achieve desired outcomes for individuals 

• Keeping in contact with professionals, families and friends

• Rate of pay £7.20 - £7.50 per hour 

• Contracted hours available to suit you, up to 35 hours per week

• Night work also available
