A leading organisation in Birmingham, West Midlands is looking for an experienced Tandoori Chef. The Duties include cooking all types of vegetarian and non-vegetarian tandoori dishes from the menu, using fresh and raw ingredients. Tandoori chef is responsible for the supervision and training of the junior kitchen staff. Duties include creating new dishes for recommendation to the Head Chef for added menu variety. Maintaining the food quality and oven temperature for different types of tandoori dishes as per standard set by the Head Chef. Ensure all the equipment used in tandoori section is in good condition and hygienically cleaned before and after use. An applicant must have experience as NVQ 3 or above in a similar position.
