Lead Web Developer - Brand new Digital Audio Apps

Lead Web developer to develop a brand new suite of sophisticated tools and apps for a world leading Digital Audio Streaming company.

A fantastic opportunity for a talented and creative Web developer to join a world renowned developer of high end music systems to lead the development of a brand-new web application, from the ground up.

The successful candidate will join a multi-disciplinary team working on the development of innovative audio-engineering technologies. He/she will be responsible for the development of online tools that will support the modelling, analysis and configuration of a wide array of sophisticated audio products.

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

-To develop a good understanding the engineering and commercial goals of the project
-To envision, scope and design the application
-To define the application architecture and software stack
-To describe the feature set of the application and determine a development plan
-To implement and deliver the application

He/she will demonstrate:

-A history of creating and maintaining secure, feature-rich, interactive web applications
-Expertise in JavaScript, HTML and CSS; and of associated tools and frameworks
-Familiarity with client-side MVC/P frameworks (such as AngularJS or Backbone.js)
-Solid object-oriented programming skills
-A successful track-record of leading development projects
-A predisposition for writing testable software
-Advocacy of agile software development practices (e.g. TDD, DDD, CI)


This is a real opportunity for a capable web developer to lead the development of a brand new suite of interactive tools and applications targeted at a sophisticated consumer audience. The successful applicant will define and own the entire application and will be responsible for the development from conception to implementation.
