Business Adviser, Start-Up

Location: Swansea, Dylan Thomas Centre

Salary: up to £18,000 per annum (equates to full-time equivalent salary of £30,000 per annum)

Hours: 22.5 hours per week (ideally 3 full days per week but alternative arrangements will be considered)

Duration: 6 month contract

This is an exiting opportunity to join a long established business support provider who delivers Start-Up advice helping Welsh entrepreneurs make a difference for the Welsh economy, delivered on behalf of the Welsh Government (funded by the European Regional Development Fund).

You will provide training, general guidance and support to a portfolio of clients helping them to set up and grow their businesses.  You will require a strong understanding of the Welsh economy, demonstrate strong commercial acumen and a robust understanding of various challenges that SME’s face.  Successful candidates will need to have good analytical thinking and understanding of financial accounting.  Successful candidates have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Your role will involve working in various industries and with all sectors, providing direct support but also to inform and signpost clients to appropriate third parties and initiatives.

Bydd gofyn i chi gael dealltwriaeth gref o economi Cymru, dangos craffter masnachol cryf a dealltwriaeth gadarn o’r heriau amrywiol sy'n wynebu busnesau bach a chanolig. Bydd angen i ymgeiswyr llwyddiannus gael meddwl dadansoddol a dealltwriaeth dda o gyfrifyddu ariannol. Bydd gan yr ymgeiswyr llwyddiannus sgiliau cyfathrebu a rhyngbersonol cryf.

Bydd eich rôl yn cynnwys gweithio mewn gwahanol ddiwydiannau a gyda phob sector, gan ddarparu cymorth uniongyrchol ynghyd â llywio a chyfeirio cleientiaid at drydydd partïon a mentrau priodol.
