Job Title
Local Business Development Manager (Fleet Sales)

Job purpose

Responsibility for the delivery of agreed annual sales volume targets through the core Business Sales Channels whilst developing great relationships with existing customers and prospecting for new customers

Key Activities:

Delivery of annual Sales targets
Exceeding ŠKODA Contract Hire Targets
Establish a Territory Development plan to optimise sales territory customer / prospecting opportunities.
Agree and implement a Sales Process to achieve targets and review progress with Manager weekly
Develop and secure new business by working closely with prospective customers, the Contract Hire and Leasing Companies
Establish a strong, robust client base and communicate relevant marketing and sales communications as appropriate
To build loyalty and increase customer satisfaction with existing customers through excellent account management. Achieve 80% Good or Excellent Feedback from prospects
Develop a minimum of 5 new prospects (With Decision Makers) per month for ŠKODA
Develop a rolling top 15 prospects every month with clear and documented next actions for SKODA
Present progress against objectives in quarterly meetings with Manager and ŠKODA UK
Updating all customer contacts in the relevant Dealer Management System

Person Specification

Essential
Good presentation & communication skills
Strong influencing & negotiation skills
Proven ability to achieve commercial targets & objectives
High commercial awareness
Relationship building
Strong drive and tenacity to achieve results

Desirable
Knowledge of automotive industry & fleet market
Experience of working in a customer focussed environment
Previous proved B2B sales experience
Equivalent to A level GCSE Grades
Educated to degree level
