Our client. a prestigious Defence agency, is seeking a Model Engineer to support to Lead Model Engineers on a variety of mathematical models.
The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating, using and maintaining mathematical models.
Although current models are predominantly FORTRAN there will be a migration to both C and C++.
Integration of models in software suite. This suite is currently in Delphi but will to migrate to C#.
This will include models written in Java. Development of Interface Specifications and testing of Model integration in C# suite.
Additional tasks will include support to model integration, system testing, documentation and user training.
Technical Requirements:
You will have an excellent mathematical background and able to develop in some of the following languages: C++, JAVA, C#, C, Fortran, Delphi,
Due to National Security you will be British able to achieve security vetting / clearance.
