We're Hiring - Join a heritage global publishing brand home to some of the world's most iconic imprints.
We are currently recruiting for a Technical Project Manager who will oversee all technical project management requirements and responsibilities within the Global Technology Solutions team ensuring that quality software is delivered according to specification using the correct procedures in line with technical and business objectives and company strategy.
The role-holder will be responsible for the day-to-day management of both the current and next iteration that teams are working on, liaising closely with colleagues to allocate work effectively, to escalate and resolve issues, and to provide timely and accurate status reports.

Technical Project Manager Selection Criteria:
> Extensive and recent experience with managing software projects in delivering commercial/enterprise software in a web development environment
> Extensive experience of a variety of software projects using both Agile (SCRUM) and Waterfall development techniques and as well as experience of using Agile techniques in managing day-to-day work of the engineering teams (e.g. daily stand-ups, iteration tracking and reporting)
> Experience of full software life cycle and requirements management
> Experience in leading engineering teams, contractors and 3rd party software vendors development projects
The successful candidate should be:
> A Self-starter, with good Interpersonal and communication Skills
> Highly organised, with good organizational and time management skills
> Detail oriented
> Able to learn rapidly and adapt to a changing technical environment
> Able to work under pressure and identify priority tasks
> Able to communicate the concepts of user experience in clear, expressive English
> Have the ability to conduct and facilitate meeting with a range of stakeholders
> Experienced in working with other team leaders within the team as well as colleagues/teams in other locations, able to effectively build relationships at all levels
> Self-motivated and flexible attitude
