IP LAWYER, LONDON (mainly Contentious work)
This leading business law firm with a strong reputation for quality and innovation with a team of lawyers renowned for understanding their clients' market and providing first class commercial and pragmatic advice. 
They work for many of the leading names in the media, technology and real estate sectors, but today their clients come from an ever-wider range of sectors. 
The IP team totals more than 100 partners, associates, trademark atorneys and patent atorneys across our offices in London and Europe. The team deals with the protection and enforcement of intellectual property, including trademark, design and patent filings, intelectual property transactional work and intelectual property litigation. The team&rsquos ability to put together the right skill set for each particular client has proved a winning formula with notable successes in the courtroom and a growing list of clients.
They are currently looking for a mid level associate to join the busy London based team. The role wil be primarily contentious work.
Candidate Requirements
· At least 3 years' post-qualification experience gained within a highly ranked practice candidates should be also have experience in patent litigation.
· Excellent academic record with a minimum of a 2.1 gained at degree level (or equivalent) - candidates with a science qualification would be ideal but are not essential. 
· Good technical ability and solid drafting skils.
· Attention to detail and thoroughness as important as a motivated and enthusiastic attitude. Flexible in attitude and approach to work. Able to demonstrate efective organisational and prioritisation skils. At times the successful candidate wil be working to tight deadlines and under pressure and will be required to maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
· Effective team player - able to work effectively in an established, close-knit team.
An enthusiastic and engaged attitude with excellent people skills and a good, clear communication style - able to form strong working relationships across all areas of the practice.
