Systems Engineer, Windows Servers, SAN, MS Exchange Servers, VMWare. Central London. £45-60,000 (dependent on experience) + £10k Bonus, Pension 5%, Private health and dental.
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to leverage your Systems Engineering / Administration expertise to manage, implement and support various client technology projects.
Key Skills:
- 5-6 years relevant hands on experience in the following;
- Configuring and supporting Windows Servers
- Expert knowledge of;
- Active Directory and DNS
- MS Exchange 2007 and 2010
- Hand held communication devices systems (e.g. Blackberry, Active Sync, MDM etc.)
- 2-3 years hands on experience of the following;
- Supporting various SAN arrays
- Supporting VMWare
- Experience planning and executing projects independently.
- Relevant degree.
- Must eligible to work in the UK.
Nice to have:
- Financial Services industry experience.
- VMWare Certification
- MS Certification in Exchange Server 2010
- Storage Certification
- Citrix Server experience.
About the role:
This Systems Engineer role ( Windows Servers, AD, SAN, MS Exchange Servers, VMWare ) will include:
- Providing 3rd level support to our client's customers.
- Providing managed services support.
- Installing, configuring, maintaining and testing server hardware.
- Managing and supporting storage and virtualization platforms deployed by our client.
- Creating documents, project planning and executing projects for clients.
- Working directly with vendors on 3rd party server / software deployment.
