Job Title:  Apprentice Engineer / Trainee Engineer

Salary:  £6.50ph + Overtime + Vehicle

Based: Glasgow 

Hours: Full Time, Perm

Job Role:

As a Trainee Engineer you will be developing your skills to reach an agreed standard in conjunction with your training package and the appointed mentor to ensure work instructions are followed at all times.

Within this role you will also complete a recognised apprenticeship gaining experience and qualification through work based and college training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out Intruder alarm and CCTV maintenances on all the company’s customer base
• To be aware of all  health and safety requirements of workshops and follow any reasonable safety instruction
• Undertake any course or instruction necessarily to obtain the required skill level for this role
• Attend monthly workshops at Head office conducting yourself professional at all times
• Efficient use of time to complete training and daily duties, PDA will be provided.
• Completing training to move to the next level of the apprentership scheme.
• Implement and act in accordance with the organisations information security policies
• Protect assets from unauthorised access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference
• Implement particular security processes or activities, as requested by management
• Report security events or potential events or other security risks to the organisation

Essential Skills:

• Must have a full clean driving license
• Have be technically minded
• Excellent time management
• Ability to multitask
• Keen eye for detail

Desirable Skills:

• GCSE C or above in English and Maths
