The Role
As a process engineer you will be expected to have a good working knowledge of FMCG & manufacturing improvement techniques. You will be involved in the daily management of the operating line and ensuring that they run the way they should. Within that you will become an expert on the lines and be involved within the training of operators - this is to ensure that they can get the best out of the machines on a day to day basis. You will be conducting route cause analysis. You will be responsible for producing all relevant documentation and providing long term solutions to existing problems. This role also offers the opportunity to be involved with new product development.

The Person
The successful candidate will have experience as process or production engineer. You will have a proven track record within continuous improvement, and understand how to get the most of the people and the machinery you work with using techniques such as route cause analysis, 5s and time and motion studies. You will have a keen eye for detail and have a genuine passion for ensuring procedures and best practices are conducted in the right way. You will enjoy a mixture of both hands on engineering with a blend of taking a step back and evaluating the procedures already in place. A track record within FMCG & manufacturing will be key to your success, alongside an engineering background.

In Return
In return you should expect a competitive salary based upon your experience and unique skill set. You should also expect the opportunity to join the company pension scheme alongside private medical care. This is a genuine opportunity to develop your career and take the next step into bigger things.
