Senior Account Executive - Energy

Our client is a leading and global provider of Cloud Business Applications and they are looking for a Senior Account Executive with a solid track record of successfully selling into the Energy Sector.

As Senior Account Executive, you will be focused firmly on capturing profitable licence revenue. Identifying, developing and maintaining long-term constructive and effective client relationships, you will focus on meeting client expectations and delivering bottom-line results. You must possess a strong understanding of business and develop a comprehensive understanding of the relevant industry and client's business and organisation together with an informed view of their future direction in the marketplace.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Formulate and implement coherent account plan for each target account that helps drive and support both expansion/diversification and which ultimately helps to underpin future strategic growth
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly/annual revenue targets within defined accounts to ensure growth across the breadth of the solution set. Produce/maintain regular, timely and accurate sales forecast reports whilst managing pipeline growth and an effective, focused route to achieving revenue goals
  • Actively engage with stakeholders who are able to support the sales process. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with Partners/SIs to pursue successful joint sales strategies to win new business within accounts
  • Harness and develop a clear account strategy that outlines how the company will show business and thought leadership within accounts, with the aim to capture increased mindshare and business and to achieve strong Executive sponsorship with the customer
  • Operate at all levels both inside and outside the organization to manage considerable change through business initiatives and deliver programmes that make a fundamental difference to business growth/profitability

Experience

  • 5+ years of direct sales, managing complex multi-solution sales
  • Experience in engaging to CXOs
  • Proven track record in target achievement
  • Demonstrable track record of being able to develop and articulate value positioning statements

Education/Training

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Completion of Sales Methodology training preferred
