With 68 plants in 21 countries, Amcor Flexibles Europe & Americas, a Division of Amcor, is a €multi-billion market leader and the world’s largest supplier of flexible packaging. A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen at their site in Ledbury, which employs in excess of 240 people and supplies a range of innovative and high quality flexible packaging to a demanding blue chip customer base.
Working closely with the General Manager, the Continuous Improvement Leader will be responsible for the identification and delivery of lean improvement projects across all functional areas (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, HR etc) of this ‘fast paced’ business, designed to significantly enhance site performance and the skills of a talented workforce, in addition to delivering a positive financial impact.
You will take a practical, hands on approach to identifying best practice opportunities and improvement projects which add value to the business, developing and improving internal communication, at all levels, challenging the senior team to deliver change, whilst managing and coaching local sponsors of CI projects.
For a high achiever, who delivers fast and impressive results, this position offers the potential to progress to Director level, within this multi-national organisation.
Ideally educated to degree level, candidates will have proven Continuous Improvement experience, gained in a progressive, fast moving, manufacturing environment. This experience will be supported by a strong lean toolbox and demonstrable success in delivering improvements across all business areas.
