Software Development Engineer - VB.Net - Machine Control

This very successful and fast growing International developer of sophisticated (multi-axis, machine vision, robotics) Semiconductor equipment designs, manufactures and distributes highly sophisticated equipment for use in the global Electronics Industries. As a result of their continued growth they are currently seeking a VB.Net Software Engineer to join their R&D team, working on state-of-the-art GUI's for next generation machines.

The role will based within their modern production facility in Dorset and the role would suit an individual who is keen to develop their career through the development of advanced products within a highly technical and demanding industry.

Ideally, applicants will have experience of Machine control systems, although experienced software engineers from other technical backgrounds or talented junior engineers keen to learn and able to demonstrate solid basic software skills may also be considered.


The ideal applicant would have experience of real-time Machine Control Systems and also possess experience in a number of the following Languages:


VB.Net
VB6
WPF
C++
Embedded software


In addition, the ability to demonstrate any of the following skills would be desirable:


SQL development,
User interface & graphic development
Vision systems
Experience in High speed / reliability applications


Candidates should posses the ability to work within a small development team, working flexibly and communicating clearly on existing and new development projects as they arise. Being part of a dynamic environment and being responsible for specific projects, individuals will require a high degree of self motivation.
