Our client one of the top Builders Merchants in the North West, they are looking
to recruit an experienced Transport Manager to join there Chester branch.
The ideal candidate would ideally have previous experience of working within the Building/trade industry as a Transport Manager.
You will be responsible for the day to day running of the transport function ensuring vehicle safety standards and traffic regulations are adhered to at all time.
In addition, you will be computer literate and responsible for maintaining the branch’s tachograph system and records. Knowledge of the local area is essential for this position, as you will be organising the daily deliveries.
You will have good communication skills and be able to work as part of a team.
