Logistics/Supply Chain Order Scheduling

Leading edge client requires Supply Chain/Order Scheduling Planner with a basic electronics background (or at least a understanding of general electronic components) - for contract role.
The role will assist in the Order Scheduling/Logistics function of a leading R&D organisation (across International borders)

The role will be working with the in house Purchasing Database which shows the components and Bill Of Materials for parts,along with Excel worksheets. The role will also involve negotiating with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure continuity of supply of components as and when required. Role will also involve details order scheduling and MRP.
