Position: Support worker
We are currently recruiting Support Workers for our clients based in West London and surrounding areas. Specialising working with vulnerable adults that either have disabilities or learning difficulties, we are looking for applicants that are patient, hardworking and of a caring nature.
Your role will include assisting vulnerable adults to suit their requirements whilst helping them to live as independently as possible. Some of our clients may be non-verbal so we are looking for applicants that have good communication skills (both verbal and written) and enthusiastic to meet all of our clients needs. You will need to be open to assisting clients with personal care and also outdoor activities (E.g. shopping)
You will need an NVQ in health and social care (level 2 minimum.) and experience in working with this type of cliental. Due to the nature of this role, you must be flexible with your rota, able to travel and available to work various shifts.
We also look for:
* A caring, hardworking, non-judgmental and motivated nature
* DBS check or DBS update service
* Experience in working with disabled adults or adults with learning difficulties
* Flexibility
* Able to provide references
