We are currently recruiting for an experienced English Teacher to work at a local school in the Bury area on a part time, long term basis. This role is due to start with immediate effect and will involve teaching English at both KS3 & KS4. The candidate will be expected to plan, prepare and mark all work and raise standards throughout.

The School
This high performing school caters to a wide array of pupils from the local and surrounding area. Their focus is to increase both academic standards and standards of behaviour throughout. This school is a popular choice and regularly outperforms schools in the locality. Behaviour is good and the school is a very popular choice amongst local families.

The Child
Students are encouraged to really push their own abilities to achieve and exceed. There is an eclectic student cohort at this school with a positive, dynamic and enthusiastic attitude and approach from both pupils and staff alike.

All applicants must have completed a PGCE Secondary qualification or Bachelor of Education providing Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Applications from FE qualified instructors or teachers with QTLS, unqualified teachers or overseas qualified teachers not familiar with the GCSE curriculum will not be considered.
